About Method Oregon
Method Oregon is:
-
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization founded by and for passionate sparkling winemakers.
We are dedicated to establishing Oregon as a world-class sparkling wine region and telling the story of Oregon’s fast-growing traditional method sparkling wine movement.
-
The Method Oregon mark represents one of the most rigorous standards in the world for traditional method sparkling production.
When consumers see the Method Oregon mark on a bottle, it should be understood as a symbol of exceptional quality, deep care for the land, and strong community.
-
More than 50 Oregon wineries—from Oregon sparkling pioneers with decades of history to young, emerging brands—are active members. Explore the list via the Method Oregon Trail Map.
We are following the example set for us by Oregon’s pioneering pinot noir producers: uniting our voices to tell the story of our unique region and the incredible sparkling wines it creates.
-
The Method Oregon Grand Tasting Weekend is our flagship event, held each year during the last weekend of July.
The 2026 celebration, scheduled for July 24-26, will include a moderated panel, guided tastings, production facility tours, a Bubbles Block Party featuring food trucks and a DJ, the Grand Tasting, and a choose-your-own-adventure day where attendees can visit member wineries for special sparkling events. Most events will be ticketed a la carte to give guests the flexibility to dive deep into their interests and their favorite wineries.
